Este é o terceiro jogo Contra para o NES (e foi lançado logo após Contra III: The Alien Wars for SNES). Existem cinco missões, envolvendo os níveis de rolagem lateral e retroprojeção. Alternar entre os quatro comandos e encontrar passagens secretas, para não mencionar um grande arsenal de armas: lançadores de foguetes, lança-chamas, bazucas, minas terrestres, rifles, bombas-relógio. Para um ou dois jogadores.
