Neste jogo, você faz o papel de Crystal Pony. Um dia, seus amigos pôneis decidem fazer uma festa em um castelo próximo. Mas uma bruxa malvada capturou e aprisionou todos os pôneis. O único pônei que ainda está livre é a Crystal Pony. Ela deve agora cuidadosamente explorar os arredores, encontrar gemas que estão espalhadas em vários lugares e usá-las em lugares onde os pôneis estão capturados para libertá-los. Você controla seu pônei através de vários locais, coletando ferraduras no caminho e "gastando" em portões de fase para passar para outro local. Você pode explorar os locais na ordem que desejar, viajando diretamente entre eles ou usando imagens de teletransporte. O jogo tem mais aventura do que elementos de ação. Crystal Pony não pode morrer no jogo; se um inimigo a atingir, ela simplesmente perde uma de suas ferraduras. As únicas batalhas são contra a bruxa, ocorrendo toda vez que você usa uma gema no lugar correto. A pônei pulará automaticamente sobre os obstáculos, mas você também pode fazê-la pular com um botão correspondente. Você pode obter itens extras interagindo com vários objetos e personagens, apertando o botão de ação.
