Demon's Crest é uma sequência de Gargoyle's Quest. No passado, o mundo dos demônios e o mundo dos humanos coexistiam em harmonia. Mas então seis misteriosos emblemas caíram do céu sobre a terra, emblemas de seis elementos: fogo, água, ar, terra, tempo e céu. Os demônios ficaram obcecados com os emblemas e com o poder oculto neles, e assim começou uma guerra civil. Finalmente, o Demônio Vermelho chamado Firebrand conseguiu todos os emblemas, exceto um - o emblema do céu. O Demônio Dragão possuía esse emblema, então Firebrand decidiu confrontá-lo. Ele derrotou o Dragão Demônio, mas foi severamente ferido em batalha. Enquanto voava de volta, ele foi derrubado por um misterioso inimigo e perdeu seus emblemas.
